mulberries grown in higher altitude, such as ours, are less acidic than their lowland cousins. the result is a fruit that’s balanced in taste, succulent, and rich in vitamin c as well as iron. our mulberries have been popular with fine dining chefs in kuala lumpur for years.
the jam we make from these mulberries has featured in our desserts and cakes since the earliest days of our restaurant. our recipe consists of 62% fruit – meaning it tastes cleaner yet richer and deeper than commercially-available varieties – incredibly satisfying whether added to cakes and desserts, or spread generously on warm toast.
